"Aagaaz 2k2018" the welcome party for first year student was organised by the seniors on 29 September, 2018. "Fresher's Party" in any college is an event which every student eagerly awaits from the time of there admission. The fresher's party was celebrated with fun and masti. The program kick started with lamp lightening ceremony and ganesh vandana followed by ramp walk. The main challenge of the event Mr. Abhishek verma and Miss Chitrangna Singh were selected on the basis of performance in three different rounds. First, it was the introduction round followed by a talent round and then question answer round. Vice Chairperson of the University, Honorable Dr. Bharat Prashar sir said that,"such programs are organised so as to generate the feeling of fraternity among juniors and seniors." All the freshers including seniors rocked the show and enjoyed the celebration, the program was concluded by vote of thanks.
The main objective of celebrating the Day is to update the knowledge base of the dispensers, awareness of common people regarding proper use of medicines, preventive measures against diseases and overall development of healthcare system. He said pharmacist community is one of the three main pillars of the healthcare system with doctors and nurses being the other two.We believe that this celebration will be a boost to the pharmacists as healthcare providers and a recognition for their relentless services to the mankind and Pharmacists have a vital role in the outcome of pharmacological therapies and ultimately strive to improve patients’ quality of life. “Pharmacists: Caring for you” is the theme of this year’s World Pharmacists Day.
Teachers are the torch bearers of the Gen-next. Teachers day is celebrated to show our acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by teachers towards development of the society. On 5th Sep, 2018 birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, was celebrated at Maharishi Arvind University with full zeal and enthusiasm. The performance by students exclusively for the teachers was a memorable one. The students took great efforts and ensured that teachers enjoy every moment of the celebration which included games, musical chair, dance performances, poem recitation, quiz etc. Students from different streams exhibited their talent to treat the teachers. Vice Chairperson Dr. Bharat Prashar congratulated the teachers on the occasion and explained importance of the teachers day by acquainting about the facts behind how birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was started celebrating as “Teachers Day” which was to show a mark of tribute to the tremendous contribution made by teachers to the society.
Orientation day for session 2018-19 was organized at Maharishi Arvind University, Jaipur. The programme commenced by warm welcome of new students by their seniors. Our Chief guest Mrs. Shalini Prashar , Prof. Dr. D P Sharma and Special Invite Prof. Dr. Sanjay Gaur motivated the students by their encouraging words which will help students to build a strong foundation to excel in today’s world. They discussed that the energy of today’s youth should be channelized in correct path also Importance of education, carrier guidance, positive attitude, dedication and discipline are the key factors of success. The Orientation Programme was concluded by the vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. N C Pahariya.
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Maharishi Arvind University, Jaipur. The celebration started with the hoisting of National Flag. Our Chief Guest Mrs. Shalini Prashar, unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem. The students sang the patriotic song, and presented many other cultural programmes. Our Chief Guest boosted our morale by motivated words on hard work and honesty. She urged the students to search for new fields of work and to be careful towards health and hygiene. She said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. It was followed by the motivational speeches by the dignities giving tribute to our national heroes. The celebration ended with vote of thanks. All the staff members were present at the occasion. Sweets were distributed at the end of the programme.
Maharishi Arvind University Jaipur, conducted a refreshing Yoga session on 21st June 2018, on the occasion of International World Yoga Day 2018 with full support of Our Vice Chairperson Dr Bharat Parashar . All The faculty members along with the students participated with full enthusiasm. Importance of yoga practice and impact on body , mind and soul were also discussed by the Yoga Experts. Yoga heals our mind, body and soul and hence, it won’t be wrong to say that this healthy practice helps to maintain sanity in our day to day life.
On 23rd March Faculty of Commerce & Management organised Annual B-Quiz competition Quizzard 2018. Team Tata of BBA.LLB Students bagged first place. Team Adani of BCOM students bagged second position. There were three rounds in total. First tested the students on the grounds of General Knowledge & Aptitude. Second round consisted questions relating to Marketing, Finance, Famous Personalities, Industrialists etc. Third round was the tie breaker round for second position. Students participated with full enthusiasm and zeal.
The Students of Maherishi Arvind University, Faculty of Agriculture Science, Participated in The Krishi Unnati Mela (National Level Agriculture Fair-cum – Exhibition) was organized on the theme - Doubling Farmers’ Income by 2022 from March 16-18, 2018 at Mela Ground, IARI, PUSA, New Delhi. It was inauguration by Shri Radha Mohan Singh Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 17, 2018 was launched 25 Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVKs) and inaugurate Biennial National Conference on KVK, addressing 681 KVKs through live telecast. Prime Minister was conferred Krishi Karman Awards to best performing states and progressing farmers and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Krishi Vigyan Protsahan Puruskar. More than 600 stalls was displayed and provide direct access to latest technologies and Government initiatives. A pavilion was established to showcase various schemes and initiatives in the agriculture and allied sector and also highlight start up initiatives being implemented.
An industrial visit to Kagzi Industries, Sanganer was organized by the Department of Commerce and Management for the students of MBA,BBA & BCOM on 8th of March 2018. Students got to know how handmade paper industry works. Mr. Nalin factory supervisor, explained various steps in making of handmade paper from hosiery checking, cotton shredding,pulp beating, placing sheet, paper drying & calendaring to packaging of papers to the students. Students showed full enthusiasm in learning about how exports are done, how dies are made, how paper color is added. They also visited the showroom which features all the products exported by this manufacturing unit.
Maharishi Arvind University organized Sports Tournament,2018- Lets play together, from 14/02/2018 to 16/02/2018. This was followed by a welcome and inaugural speech by the chief guest Vice-Chairperson Dr. Bharat Parashar Sir, his words of wisdom, especially drawn from his own personal life were inspiring and it set the mood for the day.The sports events kicked off with a cricket match for the faculty members of the Education Group. After this, exciting start of the various events lined up for the day quickly proceeded. 100, 200 and 400m race for both boys and girls was organized. It was then followed by shot put, discus throws, javelin throw for both boys and girls. Long jump, badminton, table tennis, carom, chess for boys and girls was followedwhich saw the maximum participation. The events were finished off with the most energetic and cheered cricket for the girls and boys where all the members of their respective team competed against each other. All the participants were at their best exhibiting the spirit of competition. The well-deserved participants in all events wereawarded and the winning teams were also applauded. The prize distribution ceremony was completed by awarding medals, certificates and trophies, and was completed with a photo session. The students were then led to the cafeteria for refreshments.
A batch of MCA, BCA and BSc IT along with staff visited the Everdata Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on 28.11.2017. This unit is a privately owned web hosting company founded in 1997. It provides corporate hosting, cloud hosting and virtual private and dedicated servers, as well as a variety of data center services. The main objective behind the visit was to make students aware about the working of data service centers. It is rightly said that "See and Know" is better than "Read and Learn". Students have got real feel of company's working after the visit. They got a chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge to practical implication. Students extended their gratitude to Everdata Technologies Pvt. Ltd for permission and support they gave to make this visit a success with accomplishment of objective and also to Vice Chairperson Dr Bharat Prashar sir for arranging this visit for the students.
More than 200 units of blood was collected in a special blood donation camp held at Maharishi Arvind University on 25th September, 2017. On the occasion of Pt. Deendayal Upadhayay Jubilee and World Pharmacist Day the camp was jointly organised by Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank, Jaipur. A blood bank team comprising doctors,pharmacist, nurses and technicians assisted the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Honorable Vice Chairperson Dr Bharat Prashar sir. Many students voluntarily came up to volunteer the camp and to donate the blood. After preliminary check up students and staff members started donating blood. Refreshment was provided to all who participated in the camp. President Prof. Dr. S.G Sharma sir encouraged and thanked all who participated in the camp for donating blood for noble cause.

"Hindi ko aage badana hai, unnati ki rah le jana h. Keval ek din he nahi, humei nit Hindi Diwas manana h." 14th September 1949, was when hindi written in “Devanagari” script was adopted as the official language of India. And with an aim to rekindle the love for India's official language among students, Maharshi Arvind University celebrated “Hindi Diwas” on Thursday. To mark this day students spoke in hindi throughout the day and also participated in various events like vaad vivaad pratiyogita, nibhand lekhan, hindi shabadkosh pratiyogita organised on the occasion. As part of observing Hindi Diwas to show appreciation towards the national language Honourable Vice Chairperson Dr. Bharat Prashar sir guided students about the hard work, protest and demonstrations that invested into making Hindi the National language of India. President of the University Prof Dr. S.G Sharma acquainted students that Hindi language is very old, and has a direct line of evolution to Sanskrit. As such it is part of one of the oldest religious and literary tradition in the world. Whole event was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm which ended with prize distribution ceremony.

On 28 Aug,2017 Maharishi Arvind University was having a filmy touch as RJ Abhi of Red FM was present organizing an event "College ka Tasan Baaz Season 5" which gives a platform to students where they can compete with each other and show there talent. Students of MAU showed there talent in dance,singing,mono acts etc in the event, out of which Shahin Ali of BA Sem 1st and Yogesh Verma of B.Com Sem 1st got selected for grand finale. The University President Dr Prof S.G Sharma also motivated students for active participation . He added that such events are important for students to develop holistically and will also help students to release stress and boredom. Whole event was full of fun and students enjoyed it thoroughly.
Orientation program is designed to acquaint new students about University and to learn about social and academic programs. Maharishi Arvind University organised "Orientation Programme 2017" for the first year students. The program activities were linked to the strategic goals of University namely enhancing the student experience, developing excellence in learning and teaching, and encouraging participation of students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.The program started with formal welcome of newly arrived students, followed by lamp lightening ceremony by all the dignitaries, Vice Chairperson Honorable Dr Bharat Parshar sir, President Respected Dr Prof S.G Sharma sir, Respected Dr Prof S.N Sharma sir along with all deans of various departments. Vice Chairperson Dr Bharat Prashar in his inaugural speech made the students understand the value of life and he also stressed on the fact that the students should start thinking on their own to imbibe the sense of responsibility in them which will lead them towards a successful career. President Dr Prof S.G Sharma briefed the students about the history of the University and also informed them to the past achievements of the institution. Prof Dr S.N Sharma (Dean of Agriculture) guided students on importance of leadership quality, effective communication skill, teamwork, over all personality development. Students by performing dance, singing etc added spark to the program. Programme was concluded by Vote of Thanks, followed by refreshments.

It was followed by the motivational speeches by the dignities giving tribute to our national heroes who sacrificed their life in India's freedom movement and influenced the youth to work hard towards developing nation.
Maharishi Arvind University celebrated the international yoga day with great zeal at its campus. Students and staff members participated enthusiastically doing various asanaas. The honorable chairperson of the University Dr.Bharat Prashar , addressing the gathering encouraged every student to including the habit of yoga in their everyday life through which they can have healthy living.
Envision 2017 is the annual two day cultural extravaganza of MAU. This year students participated with full enthusiasm in events like Mehandi, Role Play, Poster Making, Rangoli, Dance, Singing, Ramp Walk etc. Dr. Bharat Parashar Vice-Chairperson of MAU blessed the students for organizing such fest so profoundly. He also encouraged & motivated them to keep up the spirits high & organised such functions on regular basis. The excitement among the students was worth watching. The campus of MAU was blooming with creativity & talents all around.
Maharishi Arvind University organised its 2nd Annual sports week at its Campus on 12 Feb to 16th Feb 2017. University's Vice Chairperson Dr. Bharat Parashar inaugurated the 2nd Annual Sports meet. The campus was full of enthusiasm & sportsman spirit.There were total 14 tournaments of outdoor and indoor games including Table tennis,Badminton, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, VollyBall, Chess, Carom, LAN Gaming.
MAU celebrated its 2nd Basant Panchmi with students & Faulty. Chairperson Smt Bharti parashar told the students about how it is important to be connected to God to solve problems in life. Dr Bharat Parashar Vice Chairperson of MAU offered prayers to Maa Saaraswati. Afterwards sweets were distributed among the teachers & students.
On 6th Sept 2016 MAU celebrated its 1st Teachers Day. The event was held at the auditorium in the admin block. Event was prepared & hosted by the joint efforts of senior studenta and freshers. Students welcomed Vice-chancellor Dr. S G Sharma & Prof Dr. N C Paharia with flowers. Snehlata Kanwar (MBA) & Krisna Saini (MCA) the hosts of the day started the program by inviting a group dance from B.Sc Agriculture Senior Students. It was followed by a speech in hindi by Ankit Raj (BBA).
